I don't know who else does it like this, with virtually zero love story or romance. There was a wee bit of romance in book one (Rome: The Emperors Spy) and it was the reason I loved the book but gave it 4 stars. I like that t...I will definitely pick up this book. I like that there's a female author currently writing in the Roman military genre, to compliment the Scarrows and Sidebottoms out there.
